Coimbatore Corporation is pioneering a new approach to education by setting up Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) labs at two Corporation schools. This initiative brings interactive learning to the forefront, enabling students to engage with subjects through immersive technology.
The labs, installed at S.R.P. Ammaniammal Girls Higher Secondary School in R.S. Puram and Siddhapudur Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School, are equipped with VR headsets and feature over 500 concepts for each subject, in line with the Tamil Nadu Government syllabus for grades VI to XII.
